As a matter of fact; LGBTIQ/SW in our context has no knowledge on self-safeties and security which in any manner either provoke the public on sex orientation attacks leading to insecurity incidences. Migori and Homabay counties being among the top hotspot areas for post-election violence, with clear record of business raid and GBV.WPCN in her own way seeks in advance to train her constituents on physical safety and security, digital safety and election which will provide a personal safety guideline during and after election. WPCN intends to prepare LGBTIQ/SW community on adversity and hostility, security sensitivity, digital safety use, do’s and don’ts. WPCN also aims to strengthen police and court rapport and working relationship during this forthcoming election period and beyond, which will accelerate the urgent response in times of need.
